Story
After being in the architectural and construction field for 20 years, Kylie Ramaker received her master's in Clinical Social Work (MSW). She provides crisis, critical, and ongoing mental health therapy care to homeless youth at the Von Wald Shelter in Rochester, MN; single moms and their children at the Jeremiah Program in Rochester, MN; families in the In-Home Program/Olmstead County Youth Behavioral Health Program; and school-based mental health to the Chatfield, MN community. Kylie provides clinical diagnosis and therapy to infants, children, adolescents, and adults. Kylie works in many cognitive and behavioral modalities and therapeutic strategies that are all trauma-informed. As a clinician, Kylie utilizes the family-system and person-centered approaches of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); ARC (Attachment Regulation Competency therapy); Motivational Therapy; DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy); and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for therapeutic work.

Kylie is also passionate about group, and non-traditional therapy methods, for whom talk therapy has been exhausted or lacks desired results. These would include therapy like art, animal-assisted, mindfulness, and Ecotherapy.
